ConnectiontoAppliance
Beforeconnection,ensurethatthereisnodebriscaughtintheheadofthegascylinder,regulator,burnerand
burnerparts.
Spidersandinsectscannestwithin andclog theburnertubes.Acloggedburner can leadto afirebeneath
theappliance.
Cleanburnerholeswithaheavy‐dutypipecleaner.
Fitthehosetotheapplianceusingaspannertotighten itontotheconnectionthread.Ifthehoseisreplaced
itmustbesecure dtotheapplianceandregulatorconnectionswithhoseclips.Disconnecttheregulatorfrom
thecylinder(accordingtothedirectionssuppliedwiththeregulator)whenthebarbecueisnotinuse.
The Barbecue must be used in a well‐ventilated area.Do not obstruct the flow of combustion air to the
burnerwhenthebarbecueisinuse. ONLYUSETHISBARBECUEOUTDOORS.
BEFOREUSECHECKFORLEAKS
Nevercheckforleakswithanakedflame,alwaysuseasoapywatersolution
ToCheckforLeaks
Make2‐3fluidouncesofleakdetectingsolutionbymixingonepartwashingupliquidwith3partswater.
Ensurethecontrolvalveis“OFF”.
ConnecttheregulatortothecylinderandON/OFFvalvetotheburner,ensuretheconnectionsaresecurethen
turnONthegas.
Brush the soapy solution on to the hose and all joints.If bubbles appear you have a leak, which must be
rectifiedbeforeuse.
Retestafterfixingthefault.TurnOFFthegasatthe cylinderaftertesting.
Ifleakageisdetectedandcannotberectified,DOnotattempttocureleakagebut
consultyourgasdealer.
