AbnormalOperation
Anyofthefollowingareconsideredtobeabnormaloperationandmayrequireservicing:
‐Yellowtippingoftheburnerflame.
‐Sootingupofgrillplates.
‐Burnersnotignitingproperly.
‐Burnersfailingtoremainalight.
‐Burnersextinguishedbytrolleydoors.
‐Gasvalves,whicharedifficulttoturn.
CLEANINGANDCARE
This
appliance
should
be
checked
and
serviced
by
an
authorized
service
person
every
year
to
ensure
theapplia nce
remains
in
a
safe
operation
condition.
Allcleaningandmaintenanceshouldbecarriedoutwhenthebarbecueiscoolandwiththefuel
supplyturnedOFFatthegascylinder.DONOTremovethedriptrayuntiltheBBQhascooled.
GeneralGrillCleaning
● DONOTmistakebrownorblackaccumulationofgreaseandsmokeforpaint.Interiorsofgasgrillsarenot
paintedatthefactory (andshouldNEVER bepainted). Applya strong solutionofdetergentandwater or
useagrillcleanerwithscrubbrushoninsidesofgrilllidand
bottom.Rinseandallowtocompletelyairdry.
DONOTapplyacausticgrill/ovencleanertopaintedsurfaces.
● Plasticparts:washwithwarmsoapywaterandwipedry.
● DONOTuseabrasive cleaners,degreasersoraconcentratedgrillcleaneronplasticparts.Damagetoand
failureofparts
canresult.
● Porcelainsurfaces:becauseofglass‐likecomposition,mostresiduecanbewipedawaywithbackingsoda/
watersolutionorspeciallyformulatedcleaner.Usenonabrasivesourcingpowderforstubbornstains.
● Paintedsurfaces:washwithmilddetergentornonabrasive cleanerandwarmsoapywater.Wipedrywitha
softnonabrasivecloth.
● Stainless steel surfaces: To maintain your grill’s high quality appearance, wash with mild detergent and
warmsoapywaterand wipe dry witha softnonabrasiveclothafter each use.Backed‐ongreasedeposits
mayrequiretheuseofanabrasiveplasticcleaningpad.
