The park lights will flash four times then remain on while the vehicle is running*. Never remote start if the vehicle is parked in a garage or attached carport! There are two different ways to place the system into Reservation Mode. The activation type of Reservation Mode is determined when the system is installed. The default setting is Auto Reservation Mode. Auto Reservation Mode Step 1 - While the vehicle is running, place into neutral and apply the park brake.

Lock Doors 1.Press and release the LOCK button on the remote transmitter. 2.The park lights will flash and the horn (optional) will honk one time. 3.The doors will lock. 4.The LEDs on the antenna will start flashing within five seconds. Note: If installed, the starter disable will activate. Unlock Doors 1.Press and release the UNLOCK button on the remote transmitter. 2.The park lights will flash and the horn (optional) will honk two times.

Press and hold the # button for 3 seconds. 2.The park lights will flash and the horn(optional) will honk 5 times. Note: This feature can be used to locate the vehicle in a crowded parking lot. Trunk Release on the # button. 1. Press and hold the # button for 3 seconds. The park lights will flash and the horn (optional) will honk once.
OWNER’S GUIDE REMOTE VEHICLE STARTER Page 8 Cold Start/Timer Mode Cold Start/Timer Mode will start the vehicle at a user selectable start interval or temperature setting. The vehicle can be set to start once every 1, 2, 3 or 4 hours in Timer Mode or 0,-5,-15 or -25 Celsius in Temperature Mode (LT Models Only) for a maximum 12 starts. The vehicle will start at the selected start interval/temperature and run for the programmed runtime(default 15min).
REMOTE VEHICLE STARTER OWNER’S GUIDE Page 9 System Service Mode (Valet Mode) System Service Mode will disable the remote starter. This will only effect the remote start portion of the system. The optional lock, unlock and trunk release features will still be operational. When the vehicle is to have any under hood or service work done, the system must be placed into Service Mode. This feature may also be used if a transmitter is lost, damaged or if the system malfunctions. ENTERING SERVICE MODE 1.
OWNER’S GUIDE REMOTE VEHICLE STARTER Page 10 Diagnostics/ Diagnostics Chart If the remote starter does not activate when the start button is pressed the park lights will flash a diagnostic to indicate what shutdown input has been triggered. Example when the start button is pressed the park lights flash 3 times slowly. Looking at the chart below this would indicate that the system is in Service Mode.
REMOTE VEHICLE STARTER OWNER’S GUIDE Page 11 2nd Car Operation This feature will allow the operation of two Ultra Start remote car starters with one remote transmitter. This feature requires special programming from the dealer. To control 2nd car functions, press the # button at the same time as the command for the second vehicle. Example - Press and release the LOCK button. The 1st vehicle will lock the doors (optional). Press and release (at the same time) the # and LOCK buttons.
