Removal
1. Park machine on a level surface, lower cutting deck
(or implement), stop engine, engage parking brake and
remove key from the ignition switch. Raise hood.
2. Remove air cleaner components as needed using
Figures 4 and 5 as guides.
3. See Traction Unit Operator’s Manual for air cleaner
service procedures.
Installation
IMPORTANT: Any leaks in the air filter system will
allow dirt into engine and will cause serious engine
damage. Make sure that all air cleaner components
are in good condition and are properly secured dur-
ing reassembly.
1. Reassemble air cleaner system using Figures 4 and
5 as guides. Make sure that vacuator valve is pointed
down after assembly.
