prevent a build-up of rust.

Check the fuel level.
Check the hardware.
Check for broken parts.
Every month or if the boom
becomes difficult to swivel on the
post:
Lubricate the grease fitting with a grease gun.
After operating one year:
Change the lubrication oil.
