use over 4x4 treated

post - Not included.

Tools:

Cut post sleeve to proper

length. For installation of post

caps, the post sleeve must be

1” taller than the 4x4

treated post.

Ensure that 4x4 treated post is

plumb and level.

Slide post sleeve over the 4x4

treated post. Be sure and slide

the ring base to the bottom

before installing the rail

section. Post sleeves are

fastened when spindles are

secured to posts.

Attach post cap after rail is

installed. A silicone adhesive

may be used to secure the

post cap.

Rustic™ Installation: 1 2 3 4 Cut post sleeve to proper length. For installation of post caps, the post sleeve must be 1” taller than the 4x4 treated post. Ensure that 4x4 treated post is plumb and level. Slide post sleeve over the 4x4 treated post. Be sure and slide the ring base to the bottom before installing the rail section. Post sleeves are fastened when spindles are secured to posts. Attach post cap after rail is installed. A silicone adhesive may be used to secure the post cap.

31/2x31/2 Trim 31/2x31/2 Note: Post Sleeves are designed to fit over dimensional 31/2"x31/2" posts. If the 31/2"x31/2" posts you are using are outside of standard, trimming or shimming of the 31/2"x31/2" edges may be required. Check fit of the 31/2"x31/2" post into the Post Sleeve prior to attaching it to your deck structure and make any changes to the 31/2x31/2 if needed. Post sleeves are available in 48" length.
