 Deckboardsareintendedforuseasawalkingsurfaceon
exteriordecks,balconies,porches,andwalkways,including
stairs in One‐ and Two‐Family Dwellings regulated by the
IRC and other construction types regulated by the IBC in
accordancewithIBC Section705.2.3[1406.3] Combustible
projections, where fire‐resistance rated floor construction
isnotrequiredforthedeckorbalcony.
2.0 STATEMENTOFCOMPLIANCE

UltraDeck®Rustic™andFusion®deckandstairboardscomply
withtheCodeslistedinSection1.1,forthepropertiesstated
inSection 1.2anduses statedinSection 1.3,wheninstalled
as described in this report, including the Conditions of Use
statedinSection6.

3.0 DESCRIPTION

3.1 UltraDeck® Rustic™ deck boards are mono‐extruded
material composed of a wood‐plastic composite.  The
UltraDeck®Rustic™grooveddeckboardsareavailablein
twoprofiles,seeFigure3and4.TheRusticdeckboardis
produced in the following colors: Grey, Cedar, and
Redwood,forprofileoneandGrey,Cedar,Redwoodand
HickoryforProfile2.

3.2 TheFusion®deckboardsareco‐extrudedwood‐plastic
composite core with a cap‐stock on the top and side
surfaces (semi‐capped), produced in the following colors:
DriftwoodGrey,CoastalCedar,andRosewood.

3.3 UltraDeck® Rustic™andFusion® deck boards are
availablewithsolidandgroovedcrosssections.Stairboard
applicationsusethesolidcrosssectionsonly.Rustic™and
Fusion®soliddeckboardshavearectangularcross‐section
withnominaldimensionsof5‐3/16”wideby15/16”thick.

grooveddeckboardsincorporatea1/4”deepby5/16”high
groovestoaccepthiddenfasteners.SeeFigure3,4and5.
Rustic grooved deck boards are available in two profiles.
Rustic deck boards have a plowed and embossed finish.
Fusiondeckboardshaveanembossedfinish.

3.4 Walking Surface – UltraDeck®solidandgrooveddeck
boardshaveaplowedandembossedsimulatedwood‐grain
pattern.

