Method 3 Railing System:

If using cladding, it should be installed before railing. Lag bolts must be countersunk to
allow for post sleeve. Make sure the notched post sleeves have been installed. Make sure
the post is plumb and level. Properly size the top rail and insert by measuring the distance
between the two post sleeves, and cut to desired length. Make sure the spindles are all the
same length, measure and cut accordingly.
Method 3 uses the U-Top-It posts, requires pre-drilling of the metal insert, and uses eld
cut beveled spindles to secure to the perimeter deck joists.

Note: It is very important to verify spindles are all the same length. Measure and cut
