11C. REMOVING A JAMMED PROJECTILE If a projectile is jammed in the barrel, DO NOT reload or try to fire the air rifle again. If you believe the air rifle is jammed, keep pointed in a safe direction, engage the manual safety and field safety screw (Section 2), degas the rifle (Section 4), remove the magazine (Section 9), and insert the correct caliber ramrod (at least 32" in length) into the muzzle and push out the jammed projectile. Do not try to reuse that projectile.
