Storing this product in a humid or dusty location may result in product malfunction or failure. Normal operating temperature is between 14 F ~ 140 F. Long-term exposure and extended use of this system outside of the operating temperature can cause the system to malfunction.

INFO Just like a personal computer, the reset button is used to reboot the system under special circumstances including, but are not limited to, error messages, frozen system, blank screen, and scrambled displays.
Read Before Use Using micro SD CARD & USB SD CARD, USB 1. SD Card Files You may access files in the Unavi microSD Card using your computer if equipped with a Micro SD Card reader. 2. Root Directory Items: ‘MobileNavigator’ or ‘SpeedNavi’ - Map Data Folder - These folders contain map files that are used by the navigation software. Please DO NOT attempt to tamper with the contents.
Read Before Use Using micro SD CARD & USB SD CARD, USB Using USB Device USB 1.0 / 2.0 compatible (supports up to 32GB); Use only USB devices formatted to FAT32 file system. This unit can play back files in the USB portable audio player / USB memory that is USB Mass Storage Class. Depending on the condition of the external USB device, the connected device can be unrecognizable.

Main Features 2-4 CLOCK INFO CLOCK Times displayed on Unavi is automatically set by receiving GPS signals from satellites and maintained by a clock circuit called the RTC (Real-Time Clock) that has an internal clock generator. Depending on the vehicle model, you may need to manually adjust the time displayed on the radio screen. Please refer to the Vehicle Owner’s Manual for instructions on setting the radio clock.

02. Main Features AV-IN 2-6. AUDIO / VIDEO INPUT (Optional) 2 This mode will allow you to display external sources (optional) when connected to the A/V input such as a DVD player and game consoles.
02. Main Features 2-6. REAR VIEW CAMERA (Optional) (Image shown above may vary) Unavi system is rear view camera-ready. As this is an optional add-on functionality, the camera is sold and installed separately, and can be installed at anytime. Unavi system features a function that automatically switches to the full-screen image of the rear view camera installed on your vehicle. When the shift lever is moved to the REVERSE (R) position, the rear view image will appear on screen.

03. Other Features & Updates 3-1. RADIO – Basic Operation RADIO Note for most Hyundai/Kia vehicles : To enter your factory radio SETUP menu screen, please ensure the radio is powered on. Hit SETUP on the radio display and use TUNE buttons to scroll to the desired menu option (such as CLOCK or PHONE), then hit the ENTER button to select. You must make your selection within 5 seconds before the menu screen times out.

03. Other Features & Updates 3-2. CUSTOMIZE LOGO / SPLASH SCREEN SPLASH SCREEN You can customize the splash screen (or boot image) as desired with your own picture or logo. To change the splash screen at system startup, select and prepare an image file with the following format: Image Resolution: 800 x 480 Image Format: BMP (24-bit) Filename & Extension: BootLogo.bmp (image filename must be renamed to “BootLogo.

Make sure that the image file is saved on your computer using the correct name and format from the previous page. 2. Eject SD Card from the Multi-Box (while your system is turned OFF) and insert it into your PC with a microSD card adapter. 3. Load the “BootLogo.
03. Other Features & Updates UPDATE 3-3. UPDATE PROCEDURE Firmware update 1. Eject SD Card from the Multi-Box (usually located inside the glove compartment). 2. Visit www.unavi-usa.com to download proper firmware for your Unavi model. Then decompress the designated update file. 3. Once the update file has been decompressed and extracted, ‘UPDATE_USA’ folder and ‘UpdateProgram.exe’ file will appear. Copy these items directly into the SD Card’s main directory.
04. Miscellaneous 4-1. TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE SELF-DIAGNOSIS If you experience problems with your Unavi system, please refer to this section. The most common problems are listed below, along with likely causes and solutions. If a solution to your problem cannot be found here, contact your dealer or the nearest authorized Unavi service facility. 1 Touchscreen is not responding when keys are pressed. Check to see if the LCD screen is not being tightly squeezed by the bezel or housing cover.
04. Miscellaneous 4-1. TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE SELF-DIAGNOSIS 6 No video from external source connected to Unavi system. Check to see if cables are connected properly. Make sure AV cable from the external device is connected to the audio/video input port on the back of the Unavi system (yellow composite port for video, white and red for audio). 7 SD Card cannot be read or recognized by the system. SD Cards other than the original product may not be compatible with the Unavi system.
04. Miscellaneous 4-1. TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE SELF-DIAGNOSIS 12 Clock displays incorrect time. Manually setting the clock is not required as Unavi system automatically adjusts time based on the GPS. Check to see if there is GPS signal reception in the current location. If the clock is off by an hour or two, check time zone and DST settings in the navigation menu. To learn more about the clock application, please refer to section 2-4.
04. Miscellaneous 4-1. TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE SELF-DIAGNOSIS 15 Navigation instructions differ from current road conditions. This may be caused by changes in road conditions (e.g. construction) or during lane changes. Download the latest map update as the existing map data may be outdated. 16 Navigation voice guidance does not mute or interrupt the radio.
04. Miscellaneous 4-1. TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE SELF-DIAGNOSIS 21 iPod/iPhone cannot be operated. Unavi system is not compatible with Apple devices through the control box. If connecting to the factory USB/AUX port does not work, reconnect the iPod with the designated USB interface cable. Park vehicle in a safe place, and turn off the engine. Then restart the engine, and turn the power back on. Update the iPod/iPhone software version and/or check compatibility with the vehicle manufacturer.

Depending on the version of Windows Media™ Player used to encode WMA files, album names and other text information may not be correctly displayed.

TERMS & CONDITIONS WARRANTY DEFINITIONS: “You” and “Your” indicates the purchaser of this system (“Product”) or the person to whom it was properly transferred. “We”, “Us”, and “Our” indicate UNAVI. “Warranty” indicates the terms and conditions, limitations, exceptions and exclusions included herein and Your purchase receipt constitute the entire agreement. Rights under this Warranty may vary from state to state.
