4.3 Positioning the Substrate
1. Place the material on the Horizontal Material Bar and slide it under the Vertical Track

♦ Note: It is preferable to load the material from the left to right direction.
2. Position the material so that the left edge of the board aligns with the desired cutting
dimension.
3. Lower the Clamp Lever to secure the material in place
¾ Tip: If you are using a very thin substrate, you may place a piece of sacrificial
material behind it to increase the clamping tension.
4.4 Using the Production Stops
♦ Note: Always use the Silver Stop Levers with the Blade Holders and the Red Stop
Levers with the Wheel Holders (Aluminum sheet and composites).
1. Unscrew the black Locking Knob.
2. Slide the Production Stops to the desired location.
3. Tighten the Locking Knob to secure the position.
4. Set the Silver stop lever to the desired position. Flip up the Silver lever after setting to
position the material for use with the Wheel Holders.
¾ Tip: If the Production Stop does not slide easily, loosen the black Knob slightly.
