Siding Warranty
ARAUCO offers the following
warranty to the original
purchaser of ARAUCOPLY
plywood siding products
installed in the continental US,
Alaska, Hawaii and Canada.
Warranty
ARAUCO warrants that ARAUCOPLY siding
products will not delaminate for 25 years
when properly finished and installed from
the date of purchase by the structure’s
original builder or original owner.
Note: Panel delamination is defined as a
visible separation of plies in the panel as
described in US Product Standard PS 1-09.
A panel is considered delaminated if visible
ply separation at a single glueline exceeds
3 square inches.
Limitations
This warranty is in effect as long as
ARAUCOPLY siding panels have been
properly stored, installed and finished in
accordance with published installation
instructions from ARAUCO and the finish
manufacturer.

Only panels that have been subjected
to normal use and exposure at all times
beginning at purchase will be covered by
this warranty. Damage caused by misuse,
negligence or acts of God such as fire,
flood, wind, earthquakes or impact with
foreign objects is expressly not covered.
Also excluded are wood weathering
characteristics such as face veneer
checking, leafing, veneer shelling, splitting
and broken grain. Wood rot is also excluded
from this warranty.
Subject to the above limitations, if properly
installed and finished ARAUCOPLY siding
exhibits delamination, ARAUCO will, as
ARAUCO’s sole and exclusive warranty
liability and the purchaser’s sole and
exclusive remedy, agree to reimburse
the original purchaser for the cost of
comparable replacement panels only.
ARAUCO shall have no liability under this
warranty for any labor or other costs,
including the cost of removing defective
siding or replacing or finishing such siding
or related trim products.
EXCEPT FOR THE WARRANTY STATED
ABOVE, ARAUCO HEREBY DISCLAIMS
ALL OTHER WARRANTIES AND
REPRESENTATIONS OF ANY KIND WITH
RESPECT TO ARAUCOPLY PLYWOOD
SIDING PRODUCTS WHETHER EXPRESS
OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT
LIMITATION, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES
OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR
A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL
ARAUCO BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING
OUT OF NEGLIGENCE, TORT, BREACH
OF WARRANTY, CONTRACT, STRICT
LIABILITY OR ANY OTHER BASIS AND
SUCH DAMAGES ARE SPECIFICALLY
EXCLUDED HEREIN.
The above warranty and related provisions
are governed by the Uniform Commercial
Code of the State of Georgia.
