Rechargeable Battery

The rechargeable battery is located in the casing lid and is attached with a metal bracket. A

three-wire cable with plug protected against polarity reversal is used for connection with the

“GX107”. Do not use any force for connection!

Before closing the casing, ensure that the battery cable is connected to the socket (14) on the

front of the PCB. A connection error is signalled by the two LEDs (1 & 2) being lit after

connection of the operating voltage (15).

LED description

1 Red LED: The battery is being charged

2 Green LED: The battery is charged

3 Red LED: Error (e.g. wrong PIN of the SIM card)



The red LED (3) lights up briefly when a text message is received.

4 Green LED: GSM status

Flashes: “GX107” logged on to the network

Lit: Searching for network, no reception

5 Blue LED: GPS Status (flashes: current GPS position determined)

6 orange LED: OUT 2 (transistor)

7 orange LED: OUT 1 (relay)

8 Green LED: IN 1 (optocoupler)
