AEC Heat shrinkable cable end cap

Applications

Designed with a layer of spiral coated hot melt adhesive in the internal surface of the end

cap, which provides highly resistant to moisture, fungus, and corrosion, and recommended

for use both in open air and on underground power distribution cables with PVC, lead or

XLPE sheaths.

Characteristics

‧Shrinkable Ratio: 2:1

‧Electrical insulation to 1000V

‧Easy installation over the cable end

‧Abrasion resistance and mechanical protection

‧ EVA hot melt adhesive or Polyamide hot melt adhesive for pressuried cable can be

employed for inner spiral coated adhesive.

Operating temperature range

‧Operating temperature : -55℃ ~ 110℃

‧Minimum shrink temperature : 80℃

‧Minimum fully recovery temperature : 120℃
