Important safety and assembly instructions for supplied power plug adapter

Your device is equipped with a German power plug and has therefore to be necessarily provided with the

supplied power plug adapter.

The power plug adapter corresponds to standard BS 1362 and is licensed for continuing operation on British

mains sockets.

Safety Instructions

• Never operate the device without power plug adapter, since there is a risk of a fatal electric shock.

• The adapter is equipped with a suitable safety fuse that must by no means be bridged. Once the fuse is

defective, only replace it with a fuse that has the same electrical data (see "Technical Data"), corresponds

to standard BS 1362 and is ASTA-tested.

• Never operate the power plug adapter without the safety cover.

• From time to time, check the adapter's safe seating on the power plug.

• Never operate the product with a defective adapter.

•

Use the adapter exclusively for the device it is supplied with. Other devices might overload the adapter. This

could cause risks like fire, short circuits, electric shocks etc.

• Use the adapter only on outlets of the public British supply net. Never use it on other supply nets or mains

voltages.

• If questions show up or you are not confident about the mounting of the power plug adapter, it is essen-

tial to contact a qualified electrician.

Mounting

• Unscrew the screw(s) on the power plug adapter and open it.

• Insert the power plug into the adapter, so that all contacts are neatly connected with the adapter's con-

tacts.

• Shut the adapter and screw it together again.

•

Prior to use, check the safe seating of the adapter in the power plug again.

•

Only when you have checked the correct seating of the adapter connect it to the mains power.
