Caution!
When drilling mounting holes or screwing in place, ensure that no existing electri-
cal cables, gas or water pipes are damaged.
Make a small cut in the rubber cable feed through, and push through the mains cable through.
Now fasten the wall bracket to the wall with suitable screws.
Connect the mains cable to the two screw terminals „PRI ~ ~ „ on the LED converter. The earth
protection wire (green/yellow cable) must be screwed in to the intended screw terminal in the
light’s housing.
The earth protection cable must be connected! If your supply does not have a pro-
tective earth, a new supply must be laid! If no protective earth is available, faults
may give rise to a danger of a lethal electric shock! Furthermore, you not only
endanger yourself, but others too!
In case of doubt, contact a qualified technician and do not carry out the connection
and assembly yourself.
Place the light on the wall bracket. Make sure the wall bracket’s gasket ring is placed correct-
ly and check that no cables are squeezed or damaged.
If the gasket ring is missing or not placed on the wall bracket correctly, water may
enter the light, danger of a fatal electric shock!
Fasten the light to the wall bracket by alternately screwing in the grub screws.
Maintenance and Care
The light does not require maintenance. Therefore, never dismantle the product. The LED lights
used have a long lifetime; they cannot be replaced.
Prior to each cleaning, the light must be switched off; allow it to cool down sufficiently.
The outside of the light should only be cleaned with a soft, clean cloth. Where it becomes very
dirty, use a cloth which is slightly moistened with lukewarm water.
Never use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions as the surface of the housing could
be damaged (discoloured).
Further, do not direct water jets (e.g. a high-pressure cleaner) at the lamp since they could dam-
age the gaskets.
Disposal
Please dispose of the device when it is no longer of use, according to the current
statutory requirements.
