1 Set Posts Surface Mount RESIDENTIAL PANELS Dig or set posts at 96-3/8 in. on center Area between posts should measure 94-3/8 in In-Ground HEAVY DUTY PANELS Dig or set posts at 94-3/8 in. on center Area between posts should measure 92-3/8 in 18 in. 45,72 cm • L ocate post placement and set in the following order along the string line: A. Gate posts (see gate installation steps to ensure proper spacing) B. End/corner posts C.
2 Install Panels RESIDENTIAL PANELS Require 1-in Mounting Bracket HEAVY DUTY PANELS Require 1-1/2 in Mounting Bracket Panel Post Panel Mounting Bracket • O nce concrete has cured and posts are secure, insert mounting brackets into rails and physically position panel between posts to establish proper height. Make sure the panel is level. Note: Flat Top Panels should be positioned with top rail 1/8-in below post cap.
3 Hang Gate SELF-CLOSING GATE KIT COMPLETE GATE HARDWARE KIT Striker Striker Gate Post Hinge Receiver Latch Receiver Latch Gate Spring Self-Closing Gate Hinge Gate Frame Hinge • Gate posts should be set at: A. 2-in (inside of post to inside of post) wider than the actual gate width if using self-closing hinges. B. 3-1/2-in (inside of post to inside of post) wider than the actual gate width if using Complete Gate Hardware Kit. • Attach hinges to the gate first and then the post.
