Use and Care Manual

It is important to know your pool’s capacity before adding any products
to your pool water. If you do not know the capacity of your pool, simply
use the formulas below to calculate the approximate capacity.

diameter
Calculate Average Depth in feet:
Deep end depth (ft) + Shallow end depth (ft) = (ft)/2 = Average Depth (ft)
For a Rectangular or Square Pool:
Length (ft) x Width (ft) x Average Depth(ft) x 7.5 = Pool Capacity (gal)
For an Oval Pool:
Short Diameter (ft) x Long Diameter (ft) x Average Depth (ft) x 5.9 = Pool Capacity (gal)
For a Circular Pool:
Diameter (ft) x Diameter (ft) x Average Depth (ft) x 5.9 = Pool Capacity (gal)
For a Free Form Pool:
Surface (sq ft) x Average Depth (ft) x 7.5 = Pool Capacity (gal)
Measuring Pool Capacity Opening Your Pool
