Installation Guide
Installation Instructions (non adhesive) -
1. For the best results clean (no Chemicals) the area where the Defender is to
be applied removing all ngerprints and debris. It might be necessary to sweep or
vacuum the oor around. Fill your provided spray bottle with water or soap solution.
Pro install tips – Add a drop or 2 of clear hand or dish
soap, baby shampoo to the spray bottle to help slide around
larger Defender pieces. Too much soap will cause haziness that
will not go away. Use the cloth to push out liquid (washer dryer tops)
from the corners to straight areas then squeegee out liquid.

2. Carefully layout Eco lm sheets, plan where to begin the installation (see Diagram).
Peel the piece of Defender you wish to install from the backing and proceed installing.
3. Generously spray the Defender piece also spray the appliance area. Place the wet Defender onto the
clean/wet appliance surface and move into position. Keep the face of the Defender wet to help the
squeegee glide easier. Use the felt tipped installation squeegee, (hold at a 45 degree angle) and start to
squeegee from the center out towards the edges to remove any air bubbles and water. Check that the
Defender is at and smooth with no remaining air bubbles or liquid. If any bubbles are not removed after
Step 3, repeat step 3, it might be necessary to apply the spray more heavily and push the squeegee
harder, do not dig or gouge. Allow up to 3-5 days for any micro bubbles or hazing to disappear.
Remember it can always be peeled and reapplied many times. Run the Defender under sink water to
remove pet hair or debris if they arise.
