WARRANTY CERTIFICATE
This warranty is subject to all of the terms and conditions listed below. On-line warranty registration or Warranty card furnished with this unit must be
properly executed and returned to BLUE AIR immediately after installation. Failure to complete on-line registration or, to return the warranty registration
card within 15 days of installation will automatically void all warranties. The term “Original Purchaser” as used herein shall be deemed to refer to that
person, firm, association, or company for whom the refrigeration unit refers to herein is originally installed.
Standard Warranty
One (1) Year Parts & Labor Warranty: (On Selected Products – Chest Freezers)
BLUE AIR warrants to the original purchaser of the BLUE AIR unit sold and all parts thereof to be free from defects in material or workmanship, under
normal use and service for a period of one (1) year from the date of sale by Distributor or Dealer, or fifteen (15) months from date of shipment by Blue
Air, whichever occurs first. Our obligation under this warranty shall be limited to repairing or replacing F.O.B. factory any products that prove to be
defective and which our examination shall disclose to our satisfaction to be defective.
Two (2) Years Parts & Labor Warranty: (On Selected Products – K Series refrigeration equipment)
BLUE AIR warrants to the original purchaser of the BLUE AIR unit sold and all parts thereof to be free from defects in material or workmanship, under
normal use and service for a period of two (2) years from the date of sale by Distributor or Dealer, or twenty-seven (27) months from date of shipment by
Blue Air, whichever occurs first.
Our obligation under this warranty shall be limited to repairing or replacing F.O.B. factory any such products that prove
to be defective and which our examination shall disclose to our satisfaction to be defective.
Three (3) Years Parts and Labor Warranty: (On Selected Products – All refrigeration equipment except Chest Freezers
& K Series refrigeration equipment)
BLUE AIR warrants to the original purchaser the BLUE AIR unit sold and all parts thereof to be free from defects in material or workmanship, under
normal use and service for a period of three (3) years from the date of sale or thirty-nine (39) months from date of shipment by Blue Air, whichever
occurs first. Our obligation under this warranty shall be limited to repairing or replacing F.O.B. factory any of such products that prove to be defective
and which our examination shall disclose to our satisfaction to be defective
.
Six (6) Months Limited Parts & Labor Warranty:(for any refrigeration units installed in a mobile vehicle)
BLUE AIR provides six (6) months limited parts and labor warranty from the time of purchase for any refrigeration equipment that is installed in any kind
of mobile vehicles, not limited to, trucks, trailers, food trucks, or boats. BLUE AIR assumes no liability for parts or labor coverage for component failure
or other damages resulting from installation in noncommercial or residential building applications. Any equipment that has been altered, modified or
utilized in any manner other than how the equipment has originally been designed, or to be used will have the warranty nullified and voided
automatically. Application of this exception to Blue Air’s general warranty policy is wholly under Blue Air’s discretion. This exception creates no
additional responsibilities or liabilities except as outlined herein.
Extended Warranty
One (1) year extended warranty for parts & labor is available for products with standard one (1), two (2), or three (3) year warranties at the time of
purchasing equipment from our authorized dealers. The extended warranty is NOT available for units installed in a mobile vehicle.
Five-Year Compressor Warranty
BLUE AIR warrants its hermetically sealed compressor to be free from defects in both material and workmanship under normal, proper use and
maintenance service for a period of five (5) years from the date of original installation, but not to exceed five (5) years and three (3) months after
shipment from a Blue Air warehouse. A compressor determined by Blue Air to have been defective within this warranty period will, at Blue Air’s
discretion, be either repaired or replaced with a compressor or compressor parts of similar design and capacity. The five (5) year compressor warranty
applies only to hermetically sealed parts of the compressor and does not apply to any other parts or components, including, but not limited to, cabinet,
paint finish, temperature control, refrigerant, metering device, driers, motor starting equipment, fan assembly or and other electrical components.
However, Blue Air refrigeration units installed in any mobile vehicles will only have a limited six (6) month compressor warranty from the time of
purchase.
R290/404A/134A COMPRESSOR WARRANTY
The five year compressor warranty detailed above will be voided if the following procedure is not carefully adhered to:
1. This system contains R290,R404A and R134A refrigerant and polyol ester lubricant. The polyol ester lubricant
has rapid moisture absorbing qualities. If long exposure to ambient conditions occur, the lubricant must be removed and replaced with
new lubricant. Failure to comply with recommended lubricant specification will void the compressor warranty.
2. Drier replacement is very important and must be changed when a system is opened for servicing. A drier using XH-9 desiccant or an
exact replacement solid core drier must be used. The new drier must also be the same capacity as the drier being replaced.
3. Micron level vacuums must be achieved to insure low moisture levels in the system. 500 microns or
lower must be obtained.
4. All Compressor replacements must be obtained through BLUE AIR’s warranty department unless BLUE AIR waives this requirement in
writing and at its sole discretion. Failure to comply with this requirement will void the compressor warranty.
Warranty Claims
All claims for parts and labor must be made directly through Blue Air. All claims must include: model number of the unit, the serial number of the cabinet,
original invoice or proof of purchase, date of installation and all pertinent information supporting the alleged defect. Any part returned to the company
under the terms of this warranty must be accompanied by a record of the cabinet model number, serial number, return authorization number and such
returns shall be on the basis of TRANSPORTATION CHARGES PREPAID. In case of compressor replacement under warranty, either compressor or
