Copper Based Flashing Products Warranty
All Advanced Building Products, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as ABP) copper based flashing products are warranted
against defects in material and workmanship in the production and fabrication processes for the useable life of the
wall from the date of shipment providing that such ABP flashing product is installed pursuant to ABP
recommendations within six months from the date of purchase and further providing that said product is properly
stored prior to installation pursuant to ABP recommendations. Purchaser shall be required to notify Advanced
Building Products, Inc. at 95 Cyro Drive, Sanford, ME, 04073, promptly of any suspected defect. ABP shall, upon
proper notification, have the right to have the product inspected and tested and Purchaser shall have an obligation to
make said product reasonably available to ABP for such inspection and testing. After inspection and testing, ABP
shall promptly attempt to determine if the warranted material is defective and will replace all material if determined
defective. THE SOLE LIABILITY OF ADVANCED BUILDING PRODUCTS, INC. UNDER THE
WARRANTIES CONTAINED HEREIN SHALL NOT EXCEED THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE OF THE
MATERIAL DETERMINED TO BE DEFECTIVE, EXCLUSIVE OF SHIPPING EXPENSES AND
INSTALLATION COSTS.
This warranty does not cover damage to defects in roofing, waterproofing or leaks therein caused in whole or in part
by design defects, abuse, abnormal environmental conditions, installation, intentional or accidental damage to or
disturbance or surfaces to which the ABP flashing materials may be applied, Acts of God, damage to building or
contents thereof or from any cause beyond the control of Advanced Building Products, Inc. THIS WARRANTY IS
EXPRESSLY MADE IN LIEU OF ALL WARRENTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND ANY OTHER
WARRANTIES EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.
This Warranty may not be modified in any way except by an officer of Advanced Building Products, Inc. in writing.
