Installing a garbage

disposal can be a PAIN!

Working down under the sink, lifting and

straining trying to hold up the disposal, center

it on the ﬂange, then lift and engage the locking

Drop the hook down through

the drain opening into the

disposal, then pull up to center

it inside the grinding chamber.

Raise the disposal up through

the drain opening until it

engages the sink ﬂange. Then

apply tension to the spring.

Slide the chain into the locking

bar, maintaining the tension on the

spring, then let go. The disposal is

now secure for you to reach under

the sink and engage the locking

collar with EASE!
