b) Battery
Ensure that the battery is inserted in the correct polarity.
To prevent battery leakage, remove the battery if you do not plan to use the prod-
uct for an extended period. Leaking or damaged batteries may cause acid burns if
they come into contact with your skin. Always use protective gloves when handling
damaged batteries.
Keep batteries out of the reach of children. Do not leave batteries lying around, as
there is a risk that children or pets may swallow them.
Batteries must not be dismantled, short-circuited or thrown into re.
Never attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries. This may cause an explo-
sion!

Before use
Carefully remove the protective lm that covers the front side of the product.
Fold out the stand and position the product such that it will not fall over. It should be placed
on a at, level and stable surface.
There is a screw hole on the back that you can use to hang the product from a suitable
screw.
A magnet is attached to the back of the product (between the screw hole and battery com-
partment), which you can use to attach the product to a suitable metal surface.
Setup
a) Inserting/changing the battery
The product comes with a button cell inserted in the battery compartment. Before rst use,
pull out the plastic isolating strip from the battery compartment. The isolating strip prevents
the battery from discharging prematurely.
Do not use a rechargeable battery to power the product.
The battery must be replaced when the battery status symbol indicates a low battery (2.5
±0.2 V residual voltage), or when the display fades signicantly or switches off completely.
Proceed as follows to insert a battery:
Remove the battery compartment cover on the back of the battery compartment (3). To
open the battery compartment cover, turn it in the direction of the "OPEN" arrow using a
suitable tool.
Insert a button cell (type CR2032), observing the correct polarity. The positive (+) terminal
must point outwards. Ensure that you pay attention to the polarity markings inside the bat-
tery compartment.
Replace the battery compartment cover to close the battery compartment. Turn the cover in
the direction of the "CLOSE" arrow.
The product will switch on automatically after the battery has been inserted. It takes
approximately 30 seconds for the measurements to stabilise.
b) Changing the temperature unit
Press the C°/F° button (5) to change the temperature unit.
c) Viewing the maximum and minimum values
Press the MEM button (4) to view the saved maximum and minimum values. The maximum
values will be displayed together with the Max symbol. Pressing the button again will display
the minimum values together with the "MIN" symbol. Press the button for a third time to
revert to the original display.
d) Clearing the memory
Press the RESET button (1) to delete the saved maximum and minimum values.

Intended use
This product displays the indoor temperature and humidity. The temperature can be displayed
in °C (Celsius) or °F (Fahrenheit). The product also has a comfort level display and stores the
maximum and minimum values for subsequent retrieval. The product can be placed on a table,
mounted on a wall or secured magnetically to metal surfaces. Power is supplied by a CR2032
button cell.
This product is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture (e.g.
in a bathroom) must be avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes, do not rebuild and/or modify this product. Using the product
for purposes other than those described above may damage the product. In addition, improper
use can cause hazards such as a short circuit or re. Read the operating instructions carefully
and store them in a safe place. Only make this product available to third parties together with
its operating instructions.

a) General information
This product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. It may become a danger-
ous toy for children.
Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high
humidity, moisture, ammable gases, vapours and solvents.
Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, stop using it and prevent
unauthorised use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stress.
Handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height may
damage the product.
