Do not connect any damaged device (e.g. transport damage) and
unplug the mains adapter from the mains socket immediately in the
caseof damage. Arrange for thedamage to be repaired immediatelyby
aspecialist.

Useonlytherecommendedbatterytypes.
Useonlynewbatteriesanddonotmixbatteries.
Removeoldorusedbatteriesfromthedevice.
If the unit is to be unused for a longer period disconnect the mains
adapterfromthemainssupplyandremovethebatteries.
Prise open the battery compartment cover [19] fromthe lower edge of
theremotecontrol[14].
Place the supplied CR 2032 battery [20] in the battery compartment
[21]sothatthe"+"symbolisvisible.
Replacethebatterycompartmentlidontotheremotecontrol.
If required, batteries can be installed in the main unit in order to keep
the unit operational should the mains adapter power supply be
interupted.
Removethethreescrews[12]withasuitablescrewdriver.
Removethebatterycompartmentcover[13]fromthemainunit.
Place 8x suitable AA batteries in the battery compartment, paying
attentiontothepolarity(seeFig.B).
Replacethebatterycompartmentcover.
Plug the DC-plug of the mains adapter [25] into the mains adapter
connection[11]ofthemainunit.
Connectthemainsadaptertoasuitablemainspoweroutlet.
The microwave sensor detects mainly towards the rear side of the main unit
(seeFig.C,I).Itdetectsmovementofobjects(people,cars,animalsetc.).
The sensor can detect movement through objects or walls of wood, plastic,
concreteand brick, the detection range is reducedby half (dependant on the
material-seeFig.C.,II).
The sensor cannot detect through metal objects, objects containing
metalorthickobjects(seeFig.D).
Avoid metal doors, cupboards and similar objects in the detection area
(seeFig.D,IandIII).
Ensure that there are no heat sources within the detection area, these
cancausefalsetriggering.
Place the main unit inside the property with the back side towards the
wallon the otherside of which the movement is to be detected, eg. next
tothefrontdoororpatiodoor.
Place the main unit, if possible on a table or shelf directly against the
wall(seeFig.D,IIandIV).
