To disarm the unit and to cancel the reaction to movement press the
buttons[10]or[16].TheLED[5]isnolongerilluminated.
To manually activate a siren sound for approx. 20 sec. Press the panic
button [18] on the remote control. This function canbe activated when
the unit is in armed or disarmed mode. If the unit was in the armed
modeitwillremainarmedafterthe20sec.siren.
Tocancel the siren sound within 20 sec.Pressthebutton[10]or[16].If
theunitwasarmed,itwillnowbedisarmed.
To turn off the unit turn the button [4] to the position "OFF" (a click
soundcanbeheard).Afterashortpause,thepowerLED[6] isnolonger
illuminated.
To turn on the unit into standby mode turn the button [4] clockwise to
therequiredvolumesetting.

Each wireless component has a unique coding set in the factory. This code
mustbeenrolledintothemainunit:
Install the batteries into the wireless component. Ensure that the main
unitisnotarmed,theLED[5]isnotilluminated.
DepresstheLEARNbutton[8]untilapeep sound can be heard. The unit
isnowinthelearningmodefor20sec.(LED[5]flashes).
Move within the detection area of the MA80P, or separate the magnet
away from the reed switch of the MA80KM, or press a button on the
EW01R/MA80R.Acodedsignalwillbetransmittedtothemainunit.
Twolongpeepsoundswillconfirmthesuccessfulenrollmentofthecode
ofthecomponentintothemainunit.
Ifwithin20sec.nocomponenthasbeenenrolledthelearningmodewill
beautomaticallycancelled.Thisissignalledby4peepsounds.
Repeat the above steps for each component. If acomponent is enrolled
forasecondtimethefirstenrollmentisautomaticallycancelled.
If a wireless detector is activated (from MA80KM door or window opened,
movement detected by MA80P) when the main unit is armed, then the unit
reactsdependingonthemodesettingasfollows:
barkmode: 10sec.bark
chimemode: 2x"ding-dong"
sirenmode: 20sec.siren
When the main unit is switched on, the status of the power supply is
indicatedbythecolourofthePowerLED[6]:
lightsgreen: powerviamainsadapter/batteriesareOK

batteries(changebatteriesifthesearefitted -batteriesare

You can also hang the unit on the wall at a height approx. 0.8 - 1.5m
fromthefloor:
Drilltwosuitableholeswithahorizontalseparationof5cm.
Test the function and the detection area from the proposed
locationbeforedrillingtheholes.
Ifrequired,placethesuppliedwallplugs[22]intotheholes.
Secure the supplied screws [23] so that the screw heads protrude
5 mm outofthewall.
Hang the main unit on the wall so that the hanging slots [7] are
locatedoverthescrewheads.

walls.Canbeusedbehindcurtainsdirectlythroughplasticwindows.

The detection range of the sensor can be adjusted using the range
adjuster [3]. Set this at the minimum level required for the desired
detection.At the maximimrangesettingtheunitsensorisverysensitive
andmayreacttootherdisturbances.
Usetheadjuster[4]tosetthedesiredvolume.
