PART 1 GENERAL

1.03 ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS

A. During installation and for not less than 48 hours before and after,

ambient temperature and relative humidity shall be within limits required by

type of adhesive used.

PART 2 PRODUCTS

2.01 PRODUCTS

A. Protection Board:

1. Material: Fiberglass reinforced plastic.

2. Thickness: 0.060 inch nominal.

3. Color: Neutral light/medium gray.

4. Panel Height: Cover insulation without horizontal seams.

5. Acceptable Manufacturers:

Ground Breaker by Nudo Products, (800) 826-4132.

B. Trim:

1. Material: Extruded vinyl.

2. Color: Match panel color.

3. Pieces: Cap, outside corner, inside corner, and divider.

4. Manufacturer: by panel manufacturer.

C. Accessories:

1. Adhesive: As recommended by manufacturer.

2. Rivets: Nylon drive rivets, color to match panel color.

PART 3 EXECUTION 3.01 INSULATION A. Layout panels to minimize intermediate joints. B. Adhere the panel with adhesive to the foundation insulation as recommended by panel manufacturer. C. Top edge of the panel shall be installed so that it will be secured behind exterior building wall cladding. D. Rivets shall be used at the top edge of the panel where they will be concealed after installation. E. Attach exposed trim with rivets and concealed trim with rivets or adhesive.
