The HB1 Modular LED Highbay is a versatile luminaire designed for use
in industrial high-ceiling applications. Aircraft cable mounting kit is
included. Optional pendant mounting kit available.
Carefully unpack the unit from its packaging and inspect for defects
before installation, avoiding contact with the lenses.
If shipped with the xture whip: snap whip end into knockout.
Otherwise go to step 3.
Identify the mounting location and hang the two included mounting
cables from a structural member of the ceiling, running the cables
through the Gripple™ connectors. Note: If other mounting methods
are desired, make sure to follow all UL, NEC and minimum load rating
guidelines.
Clip the mounting cable snap hooks through the oblong holes in the
end plates. Adjust the mounting height as needed with the Gripple™
connectors.
Connect the luminaire black (line), white (neutral) and green (ground)
wires of the power whip to the corresponding colors of the AC line
using UL listed wire connectors. If 0-10v dimming is installed (corded
version) connect the red (dim-) and the orange (dim+) wires to the
building 0-10v dimming wires as shown.
Alternate Beam Angle Lenses:
Remove the single screw in the center of the lens and remove the lens
from the LED array, being careful to avoid damaging the LED primary lens.
Place the new optic carefully over the array, aligning the locating pins
with the holes in the array.
Fasten the optic to the array with the single screw, being careful to not
over tighten the screw which may crack the lens.
