Almost all HW –parts are from HobbyKing + some self –made parts (noseblocks, rx cover, co-pilots seat, tail
ski made of insulation foam)
Motor: Turnigy 2836 -1100
Prop: slowfly 11x4,7, JF…, comes in 5 packs
Battery: Turnigy nano 3S 1300
ESC: Turnigy Superbrain 40A (overkill but it was the only with datalogger in my storage)
Servos: 9g analog, just what was available (HXT900 & PowerHD)
Skies: front DuBro, tailski self-made from foam
Other: Frsky RX (Futaba system),, Guardian 2D/3D flight controller
Notes:
- Set the COG around 120…130 mm from LE, as advised in manual, it the best after all
- Langing gear is very thin and flexes too much, you lose props easy. After these pictures I have
added a rubber band between skies to stiff up the system
- Flight times 4 min full throttle, up to 8 min slow cruise
- Guardian is great! You can use the plane as trainer with mild expo settings and Guardian 2D or
stunts with 3D, all just with a flick of TX switch.
