Getting Started and Operation
Power supply
The USB cable is found in a recess on the underside; unfold it. Connect the USB plug to a free
USB port of your notebook.
You can also use the USB port of a USB hub with its own power supply or a USB power socket
of a corresponding wall plug transformer or similar device that can deliver the required output
voltage (see chapter “Technical Data”).
Tilting the notebook forward
Two spacers are clipped into place on the underside; take them out. You will nd various slits
in the top of the cooling pad. Depending on the size of the notebook, you can place the spac-
ers appropriately before you set the notebook on them.
Air can also be supplied faster through the increased air space between cooling pad and
notebook underside, which improves the cooling. For this reason, you should always use the
spacers.
Placing on legs/lap
Thanks to the cushioned underside of the cooling pad, an optimal operation is ensured even
when no table is available. Because notebooks often become very hot underneath, protect your
skin against burns with the cooling pad.
During use, make sure that the notebook and the cooling pad stand safely and cannot fall
down.
Placing on a table
Unfold the two small stand feet on the underside and place the cooling pad on a stable, level,
suf ciently large surface. Place the notebook on the cooling pad; check whether the notebook
and the cooling pad stand securely and cannot tip over.
Using the stand for the cooling pad
Pull the stand out toward the front and then slide the stand from the correct side into the guide
rail on the back of the cooling pad (observe the arrow marking on the guide rail).
Unfold the two housing pieces of the stand from one another. Thanks to a locking ap inte-
grated in the interior, the two housing pieces can be locked with respect to one another.
