Round Fire Pit

This round fire pit design uses 48 Insignia Wall units (12 per course), 12
Insignia Wall Cap units, and requires approximately 6 tubes of outdoor
concrete adhesive. This design utilizes a 35" round fire pit insert.

Step 1: Mark Location
Hammer a spike into the middle of the desired fire pit location.
Tie a piece of string to the spike and pull taught. The spike will be
the center of your fire pit. Measure out 27 inches from the center
spot, and, keeping the string taut and holding spray paint or other
marking material draw a circle. This makes the outside diameter
of your excavation area. Repeat using a string measurement of 12
inches to draw a circle. This makes the inside diameter of your
excavation area.

Step 2: Prepare the Site
Excavate the pit location between the marked circles 8 inches deep.
Compact the soil. Place, level and compact granular base material
to a finished height of 4 inches within the excavated area.
