METGUARD
The METGUARD METATARSAL PROTECTOR is a safety
footwear attachment which protects the metatarsal
area of the foot. Designed and tested to compliment
steel cap footwear. The lip of the METGUARD™ sits on
top of the steel cap at load point and is secured with
existing laces or optional straps. It helps protect the
workers’ upper foot by deecting and dispersing the
impact of falling loads. The METGUARD ts all safety
shoes and boots. It is a perfect economical solution for
visitors, temporary workers, clerical, sales people or
when there’s requirement for metatarsal protection.
• Made of extremely durable, lightweight, non-conductive
polycarbonate
• Used with existing footwear, transferable between users
and shoes
• Attaches with your shoe laces or optional straps for
non-lace up footwear
• The METGUARD is practical, comfortable, easy to t and
simple to use
• Meets minimum impact resistance 75 lbs as specied in
ASTM F2413/F2412 (ANSI Z41)
• Part #METGUARD - Sold per pair (Case of 20 pr 12x8x9
inch, 6 lbs.)
• Part #METSTRAP - Sold separately for non-lace up
footwear. Resilient nylon webbing weaves though
plastic ladder lock providing secure fastening to adjus t to
different types of footwear. Set of 4, 1” wide x 24” long.
