Natural Stone Products
Generally, the best care for natural stone is to keep it clean & bued. Especially around
faucets, wiping o the water will prevent a mineral buildup (a whitish, dull residue on the
stone).
For cleaning marble, always use a pH neutral cleaner. Any acid cleaner will damage
the stone.
Acid does not harm granite, but oil will soak in, leaving a darker area. Wipe up oils,
spills, and splatters immediately, using a mild household cleaner. Rinse and bu dry.
We recommend using a resin-based penetrating sealer to reseal the stone. All natural
stone is porous & needs to be sealed periodically to prevent staining liquids from
penetrating. Sprinkle a few drops of water on the surface, if they bead up then the
sealer is adequate. If they quickly soak in, it is time to reseal the stone.
