Prep-N-Profile
Usage and Application
Usage: Prep-N-Profile is a ready to use surface preparation product that cleans, degreases, and etches concrete and other cementious surfaces.
Prep-N-Profile is specifically designed to prepare new or existing concrete, and most cementious substrates, for the application of paints, coatings,
mortars, and adhesives. Prep-N-Profile is different from other prep products because of its patented surfactant which cleans and degreases the
surface and, in the same application, creates an adequate profile for paints, coatings and other topical applications requiring a surface profile.
Application:
1. Read entire label before using.
2. Use only as directed.
3. Before applying, it is recommended that preliminary tests be carried out to determine usage and to test the effectiveness of the treatment.
4. Apply solution liberally on surface to be prepped with a low pressure garden style pump sprayer, or a plastic sprinkling can.
5. Use a stiff bristled brush (nylon deck brushes are suggested) to lightly spread product evenly over the surface, and allow solution to dwell
for 5 minutes.
6. After 5 minutes, agitate the surface with the stiff bristled brush in a back and forth motion going north to south and then east to west to
assure complete surface agitation.
7. Allow the agitated solution to dwell on the surface an additional 5-8 minutes and rinse thoroughly.
8. Allow surface to completely dry before analyzing results.
9. Repeat process as needed.
Precautions:
1. DO NOT allow to dry on the surface.
2. While Prep-N-Profile is a revolutionary safe acid, it is still an acid, respiratory protection, long sleeves and gloves should be worn during
application.
3. Where spray back is possible, eye protection should be worn.
4. DO NOT take internally.
5. Use in a well ventilated area.
6. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
7. Thoroughly rinse product from surrounding vegetation.
8. Protect all adjacent surfaces from overspray.
9. Do Not let product come in contact with any non-masonry surfaces Including but not limited to all metals, natural stone, or glass surfaces.
10. This product is not a regular cleaning product and should not be used if the surface is not going to be covered with a coating, paint,
decorative concrete, or other floor covering material.
Prep-N-Profile is a safe, effective cleaner with ZERO V.O.C.’s. It is water based, environmentally friendly and bio-degradable. It is easily
neutralized by rinsing because it is completely soluble in water.
