Scope
This specification designates the requirements for 3- through 15- inch I.D. Prinsco GOLDLINE
®
HD pipe
for use in gravity-flow drainage applications.
Pipe Requirements
Prinsco GOLDLINE HD pipe shall have annular interior and exterior corrugations and shall meet the
following standards:
• 3- through 6- inch shall meet ASTM F405
• 8- through 15- inch shall meet ASTM F667
Materials
GOLDLINE HD pipe shall be manufactured using High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) meeting the
minimum requirements of ASTM D1248 Type III, Class C Category 4, Grade P33 for 3- through 6- inch
diameters and cell classification of 423410C for 8- through 15- inch diameters as defined and described
in ASTM D3350.
Joint Performance
GOLDLINE HD pipe shall be joined using soil tight joints meeting ASTM F405 or F667. Gaskets, when
used, shall be meet the requirements of ASTM D1056 Grade 2A2 and shall be installed by the
manufacturer. GOLDLINE HD joints shall be assembled in accordance with the manufacturer’s
requirements.
Fittings
Fittings shall meet the requirements of ASTM F405 or F667. Standard fittings are available as listed in the
Prinsco Product Catalog.
