Cabinet Information
Q. Are your cabinets Ready to Assemble (RTA) or are they pre-assembled?
A: The cabinets come unassembled. It means Ready to Assemble (RTA).
Q. What are Ready to Assemble (RTA) cabinets?
A: Ready-to-Assemble (RTA) cabinets are individually packaged cabinets that require
assembly prior to installation.
Q. Are the cabinet doors solid wood?
A: Yes, the cabinet doors, drawer fronts and face frames are constructed using ¾”
hardwood. Raised panel doors feature solid center panels except for painted product which
as a solid MDF panel. Recessed panel doors feature hand selected veneer to eliminate
“zebra stripe” with solid MDF panel.
Q. Do your cabinets contain any particleboard?
A: Our cabinets are made from solid hardwoods and furniture grade plywood. There is
absolutely no particleboard contained in our cabinetry.
Q. How are your drawers constructed?
A: Our cabinetry features 4-sided drawer boxes constructed from 5/8” thick solid hardwood
featuring dovetail joints and fully captured 3/8” thick plywood floor. Drawers slide smoothly
on an under mount full extension soft close drawer glide.
Q. Do your cabinets have “soft close” doors?
A: Yes, a “soft-close” door feature is standard with ROC cabinets.
Q. How is the interior of the cabinet finished?
A: All cabinets feature a sanitary, wipe-clean, UV coated finished interior.
Q. Are these cabinets strong enough to support a granite top?
A: Our “all plywood” construction insures the strength required to support granite, concrete or
any other countertop material that you may select. No additional cabinet reinforcement is
required.
Care & Maintenance
Q. What if the cabinetry is accidentally scratched or dented during installation?
A: Touch up kits are available in every color.
