Illustration 8 : Pass/fail check
To check whether the input signal is within the standard range. Fail means outside the
range and pass means within range. You can also output the “pass/fail” signal through the
output terminal.
1. Press [UTILITY] then [F3] to enter the pass/fail menu.
2. To set the signal source : Enter the pass/fail menu and press [F3] for setup.
3. Mask setup : Press next page then [F1] to select “” operation. Press [F3] to enter
the mask setup menu. Press [F1] to select the reference waveform. Press [F3] then
the multifunction control knob to set the maximum horizontal capacitance, then [F4]
and the multifunction control knob to set the vertical capacitance (i.e. horizontal
1-100; vertical 1-100). Finally press [CREATE MASK] and return to the previous
menu.
4. To stop setup : press [F2] to enter the stop setup menu. Press [F1] to select the stop
type. Press [F2] to set the stop condition. Press [F3] then turn the multifunction
control knob to set the threshold.
5. Set the output condition : Press [PREVIOUS PAGE] then [F2] to set the output
condition.
6. Begin checking : Press [F1] to enable check., then press [F4] to open the display
information. (This function is disabled in dual time base and roll operation modes)
