Terminology
•Standby Mode - The handset maybe sitting on or off the cradle, but is NOT in use. talk/flash or key
(or the LAND or MOBILE soft key) has not been pressed. No dial tone is present.
•Talk Mode - The handset is not in the cradle, and
talk/flash or key has been pressed and
enabling a dial tone.
