Follow these steps to enter or change a frequency in a memory:
1. Press to enter the Program mode (the scanner turns on the PGM
icon).
2. If the current channel is not the one you want to program, enter the
channel number then press .
3. Enter the frequency, including the decimal point, and then press .
4. To program the next channel, press
▲
or
▼
and repeat step 3. To
program a different channel, repeat from step 2.
5. To exit Program mode, press or or change the scanner’s
mode.
Notes:
• Anyfrequencyyouprogramreplacesthepreviouschannelcontents.
• Ifyouenterafrequencyyouhavealreadystoredinadifferentchannel
inStep3,thescannerbeepsanddisplaysthechannelwhereyouhave
previouslystoredthefrequency.Ifyouwanttostorethefrequency
anyway,pressasecondtimeinStep3.
• Toclearthecontentsofachannel,enter
0
inStep3.
• Channelsyouprogramareautomaticallyunlocked(see“Locking/
UnlockingChannels)andhaveDelayturnedon(See“SettingChannel
Delay”).
To select a single channel to monitor, press . The scanner turns on the
HOLD icon. Then, select a channel by pressing
▲
or
▼
to go to the channel
or input the channel number then press .
To scan the channels you have programmed, press . The scanner
scans all unlocked programmed channels in enabled memory banks, stopping
on a channel when it detects a transmission. To turn on/off channel banks
while scanning, press the number button that corresponds to the channel bank
you want to enable or disable.
