Follow these steps to enter or change a frequency in a memory:
1. Press  to enter the Program mode (the scanner turns on the PGM
icon).
2. If the current channel is not the one you want to program, enter the
channel number then press .
3. Enter the frequency, including the decimal point, and then press .
4. To program the next channel, press
▲ or ▼ and repeat step 3. To
program a different channel, repeat from step 2.
5. To exit Program mode, press  or  or change the scanner’s
mode.
Notes:
• Anyfrequencyyouprogramreplacesthepreviouschannelcontents.
• Ifyouenterafrequencyyouhavealreadystoredinadifferentchannel
inStep3,thescannerbeepsanddisplaysthechannelwhereyouhave
previouslystoredthefrequency.Ifyouwanttostorethefrequency
anyway,pressasecondtimeinStep3.
• Toclearthecontentsofachannel,enter 0 inStep3.
• Channelsyouprogramareautomaticallyunlocked(see“Locking/
UnlockingChannels)andhaveDelayturnedon(See“SettingChannel
Delay”).

To select a single channel to monitor, press . The scanner turns on the
HOLD icon. Then, select a channel by pressing ▲ or ▼ to go to the channel
or input the channel number then press .

To scan the channels you have programmed, press . The scanner
scans all unlocked programmed channels in enabled memory banks, stopping
on a channel when it detects a transmission. To turn on/off channel banks
while scanning, press the number button that corresponds to the channel bank
you want to enable or disable.
