To Copy a System:
1. Press MENU.
2. At ‘Program System’ press E/ .
3. At ‘Select System’ scroll to the system you want to copy and press E/ .
4. Scroll to ‘Copy System’ and press E/ .
5. At ‘New Sys Name?’ see Entering Text to name the new system.
Copying a system copies all sites, groups, channels, and settings including quick key
assignments.
To Delete a System:
1. Press MENU.
2. At ‘Program System’ press E/ .
3. At ‘Select System’ scroll to the system and press E/ .
4. Scroll to ‘Delete System’ and press E/ .
5. At ‘Confirm Delete’ press E/ .
PROGRAMMING TRUNKED SYSTEMS
To Create a New P25 System:
1. Press MENU.
2. At ‘Program System’ press E/ .
3. At ‘Select System’ scroll to ‘New System’ and press E/ .
4. At ‘Select Sys Type’ scroll to ‘P25’ and press E/ .
5. Scroll to ‘Standard Trunk’ or ‘One-Freq Trunk’ and press E/ .
6. At ‘Conrm?’ press E/ .
7. At ‘Edit Name’ press E/ . See Entering Text.
8. Scroll to ‘Edit Sys Options’ and press E/ .
Continue at ‘Set Number Tag’ below then refer to Creating Sites and Creating Groups. Finally,
refer to Programming Frequencies/IDs.
To Create a New Motorola System:
1. Press MENU.
2. At ‘Program System’ press E/ .
3. At ‘Select System’ scroll to ‘New System’ and press E/ .
4. At ‘Select Sys Type’ scroll to ‘MOT’ and press E/ .
5. At ‘Confirm?’ press E/ .
6. At ‘Edit Name’ press E/ . See Entering Text.
7. Scroll to ‘Edit Sys Options’ and press E/ .
