Using the Menu

The fi rst deals with general menu related operations and screen descri ptions. The

General Operations
1. To enter the M enu mode press [M ENU].
2. To sel ect a n item from a menu l ist, rota te the Scroll Control — yo u will s ee 
us e d a s a s ho rt h an d c h ar ac t er i n t hi s m an ua l .
3. To se lect a sp eci fi c i te m yo u have a rr ived at, pr ess ei th e r [EYE S ] or p r e s s / ta p
the Scroll Control — F is used as a shorthand icon in this manual for that
ac t i o n.

5. To exit the Menu mode, do any of the fol low ing;
Pr ess [SCAN/SEARCH] to go to Scan m od e.
Pr ess [HOL D/RESUME] to go to Sc an H ol d m o de.
Pr ess [GPS] to go to GPS mode .
Pr ess [L /O] to r etu rn to th e p revi ou s mod e .
Press repeatedly [MENU] to retu rn, level by level, to the pr evious mod e.
