Transmit/Receive

1. Press and hold the PTT key to transmit.

2. Release PTT to receive.

goes away.

Adjust Volume

Press the +/- keys to turn the volume up and down.

There are 8 volume levels, from 00 (Off) to 07.

Select Channel before Transmit/Receive

Press the ▲/▼ keys to move up or down the

channels one at a time. Press and hold them to

move quickly through the channels. The channel

number changes (1 - 40) and the corresponding

frequency displays.

If Key Beep is active, the speaker/microphone

beeps each time the channel changes.

Adjust Squelch

1. Press SQ/MON.

SQL-X

blinks on the screen.

2. Press ▲/▼ to select the remote squelch

level (1 - 7).

3. Press SQ/MON to store the setting and exit.

SQL-X

goes away.
