When a long distance call
has been set, “1” appears
in the display.
You cannot make a call
from the Caller ID list if
your EXAI 8985 is
connected to private
branch exchange (PBX).
Dial edit
You can edit the phone number of
Caller ID data when you press
after the step 1.
Calling a party from the Caller ID list
You can place a call from the Caller ID list.
The EXAI 8985 stores up to 50 messages.

Select the phone number that you
want to dial by pressing or .
2 Press .
The displayed phone number will be
dialed.
Long Distance calls and Area code
Set or cancel a long distance call by pressing and the area
code by pressing while the incoming call information is
displayed (in step 1).
