Charging the Battery Pack
Your radio is powered by a specially designed Lithium Ion battery pack.
• Before operating the UH076SX-NB, charge the Lithium Ion battery
pack for 5 hours without interruption in the drop-in charger.
NOTE
For the initial battery charge, make sure the radio is off for
optimum charging.
The UH076SX-2NB-TP comes with a twin drop-in charger
which can charge the Lithium Ion battery pack attached to
one UH076SX-NB in the front charging slot and also charge a
second Lithium Ion battery pack separately in the rear charg-
ing slot. When you charge the 2nd battery, be sure to push it
all the way into the charge slot.
1. Place the UH076SX-NB in the drop-in charger.
2. The red LED illuminates and stays ON, until fully
charged.
• The charger won’t overcharge the battery pack.
When charging is completed, the charge LED
is no longer illuminated.
• Do not transmit when the UH076SX-NB is in the drop-in charger!
• You can monitor incoming calls while the UH076SX-NB is in the
drop-in charger.
