The charge must be done under room conditions and with a discharge pressure of around 18 bar (equivalent to a
saturation temperature of 48°C for R22).
Check that the super-cooling of the liquid at the intake of the thermostatic valve is between 3 and 5°C less than the
condensation temperature reading on the manometer scale and that the superheating of the vapour at the
evaporator output is around 5-8°C.
Oil: the average dilution is around 5% by weight of the refrigerant charge. If it is necessary to add oil, use only the
recommended type below:
