Installation & Assembly

STEP 3. Assemble Planter Box
• Form a corner by centering side assembly to open face on post
• Attach side assembly to post using 4-inch screws
• Repeat for other side
STEP 4. Insert Planter Bottom
• Set 6x Bottom Slats (B) into the planter so ends rest on the inside lower rail lip
Note: no attachment is required
• A small gap will remain along inside lip for water drainage
Step 5. Trellis Assembly: Build Square A
• Use a table corner or a carpenter square as a guide to keep the
outside corners straight and flush
• Arrange 5x Horizontal Slats (E) spaced 5 1/2 inches apart
• Set 4 Vertical Slats (G) across horizontal slats - evenly spaced
• Make all sides flush and tack together using nails per join
Step 6. Trellis Assembly: Build Square B
• Arrange 3x Horizontal Slats (E) and 1x Pre-Drilled Horizontal Slat (F)
5 ½ inches apart: place slat (F) at top -face holes sideways
• Set 4x Vertical Slats (H) across Horizontal Slats: holes at bottom, face
upward
• Make top and sides flush and tack together using nails (2x nails per join)
Step 7. Trellis Assembly: Attach Square A & B
• Set the 2 squares together and attach with screws.
• Using nails tack 2 nailing supports along seam where vertical lath join
• Set trellis on planter and attach to posts with screws
