STEP 4. Insert Bottom
Build Trellis
Note: Instead of using the provided nails, a stapler or nail gun can be used to join slats together
Step 1. Arrange Horizontal Slats
• Use a table corner or a carpenter square as a guide to keep
the outside corners straight and flush
• Place 5 horizontal slats approx. 4-5” apart.
Step 2. Attach Horizontal Slats
• Place 3 vertical slats on top of horizontal slats.
• Arrange so pre-drilled holes are located at the bottom end of
trellis.
• Make top ends and sides flush and tack together using nails.
(2 nails per join)
Step 3. Attach to Planter
• Set trellis on planter and attach with screws.
• Set 3 bottom slats (B) into the planter so ends rest on the inside lower rail lip.
• ( no attachment is required )
• A small gap will remain along inside lip for water drainage.
• Attach CT10 Trellis
