LIMITED WARRANTY
UNIQUE Model 9RV-SSO-C
UNIQUEGASPRODUCTSLTD. (“Unique”)offersyou this limited warranty on yournewcarbon
monoxidealarmingdevicewithsafetyshut‐off,includingallofitscomponents (the Product”).
This limited warranty extends solely to the original end‐user purchaser of this Product (the
“Buyer”),provided your purchase was made from an authorizedvendor.Transfer or resale of
thisProductwillautomaticallyterminatewarrantycoverage.
Unique warrantsthe enclosedProduct tobe free from defects in materialsand workmanship
underauthorizeduseandservice,asspecifiedintheowner'smanual,foraperiodofone(1)year
fromthedateofpurchase.Duringtheone(1)yearperiodcommencingwiththedateofpurchase,
non‐conforming Product returned to UNIQUE at Buyer’s expense and risk, will be repaired or
replacementshallbemadewithoutcharge,providedthat:(a)theProducthasnotbeensubjected
toabuse,contamination,neglect,accident,incorrectwiringnotourown,improperinstallation
or servicing, or used in violation of instructions furnished by Unique; and (b) as to any prior
defectsinmaterialsorworkmanshipcoveredbythiswarranty,theProducthasnotbeenrepaired
oralteredbyanyoneexceptUnique;and(c)themodelnumberandmanufacturedatelabelhas
not been removed, defaced or otherwise changed; and (d) examination discloses, in the
judgmentofUnique,doesnotassumethecostsofremovaland/orinstallationoftheProductor
anyotherincidental costsofremovaland/orinstallationoftheProductoranyotherincidental
costs which may arise as a resultof any defect in material or workmanship; and (e) upon
discoveryofdefect,BuyershallimmediatelyceaseuseofandnotifyUnique.
UNIQUEMAKESNOOTHERWARRANTIES,EXPRESSORIMPLIED,EXCEPTASREQUIREDBYLAW,
ANDINNOCASEFORADURATIONLONGERTHANTHATOFTHISWRITTENWARRANTY,EXCEPT
ASREQUIREDBYLAW,INCLUDING,BUTNOTLIMITEDTO,ANYWARRANTYOFMERCHANTABILITY
OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR AGAINST INFRINGEMENT, OR ANY EXPRESS OR
IMPLIED WARRANTY ARISING OUT OF TRADE USAGE OR OUT OF A COURSE OF DEALING OR
COURSE OF PERFORMANCE. UNIQUE has not authorized any other party to extend any other
warrantiesinconnectionwiththesaleoftheProduct,andwillnotacceptresponsibilityforany
statements, representations, or warranties made by any other person. Without limiting the
generalityofthissection,themaximum totalliabilityofUnique,foranyclaim
whatsoever,under
anycircumstances(exceptwhereaccompaniedbythewilfulactions,grossnegligenceorfraudof
Unique),regardlessofthecauseofactionandincludingwithoutlimitationclaimsforbreachof
contract,tort,negligenceorotherwise,andtheBuyer’ssoleremedytherefore,shallbestrictly
limitedtosaidreplacementorrepair
oftheProduct.
UNIQUE SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS LIABILITY FOR ANY AND ALL DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL,
GENERAL,INCIDENTAL,ORCONSEQUENTIALDAMAGES,INCLUDING,BUTNOTLIMITEDTO,LOSS
OF PROFITS OR ANTICIPATED PROFITS ARISING OUT OF USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE
PRODUCT.
