J-BOX MOUNT

INSTALLATION GUIDE

Orient the J-box Mount to match the mounting method (for L-foot mounting,

see instructions below). Use slots, or other preferred method, to attach the

J-box to the mount using enclosure hardware (not included). The slots on the

J-box mount accommodate up to a 6” x 6” hole pattern.

STEP 1: INSTALL J-BOX

Attach J-box and mount to the rail by placing the hanger over the rail and pressing

mount in place. This can be done either below or to the side of the module. For taller

J-boxes, or thinner modules (32mm – 33mm), mounting to the side of the module is

recommended.

Refer to Flashkit Pro instruction manual on proper ﬂashing and L-foot installation.

Note that an L-foot holding a J-box can be installed directly to the roof deck using a

5/16” x 2” Lag bolt (sold separately). Once L-foot is in place and J-Box is installed on

the mount, center the bracket over the L-foot and slide it down onto the L-foot until the

tabs engage the L-foot slot.

TIPS:

L-FOOT MOUNTING: When mounting to an L-foot, orient the L-foot so that the lag bolt

is downslope from the vertical ﬂange so that J-box mount sits over ﬂashing as much

as possible.
