Easy data entry
The PA966 is the latest addition to the Unitech family of rugged mobile
computers based on Microsoft CE.Net operating system. It's designed
for application which requires more keypad for fast data entry. The blue
backlight behind the keypad can be switched on for dim lighted working
environment and the backlight can be switched off to
prolong operation time.
Reliability
The Unitech PA966 is highly suitable to be used outdoors because it is
optimized to withstand cold and heat (-20ºC to 50ºC). The large LCD
screen is temperature controlled so it keeps its crisp clear image under
these circumstances. The rugged PA966 can withstand 4 feet drops to a
concrete floor and it is IP54 sealed to resist splash
water & dust resistance.
Scalability Flexibility
The PA966 features an integrated Bluetooth module for short-range
wireless communication and still has two free slots (one PCMCIA and
one CF) available to suit most connectivity requirements. Unitech offers
different models equipped with either a laser scanner or image capture
device for 2D barcodes and image capturing. The PCMCIA Slot also
makes PA966 forwarding compatible with latest RFID technology.
