Plug-In Column All currently installed UAD Powered Plug-Ins are displayed in the Plug-In col-
umn. Use the scrollbar to view the entire list if necessary.
Status Column The Status column reflects the current state of each UAD plug-in. After the au-
thorization file is loaded (“Authorization Overview” on page 37), the status
will show one of the following:
Authorized for devices
When the plug-in is fully licensed and authorized to run on all devices in the
system “Authorized for all devices” is displayed here in white text.
When a plug-in is licensed but not all devices in a multi-device system are au-
thorized with the license, the Status column indicates which of the devices is
authorized (e.g., “Authorized for device 1 only”).
Start Demo
The demo period has not been started for the plug-in. Click the “START
DEMO” button to begin the 14-day trial period.
UAD plug-in demo periods can also be initiated by the “START DEMO” button
in the UAD Toolbar in the plug-in window. See “Demo Mode” on page 40 for
detailed information.
Important: The 14-day demo period can only be activated once, and can-
not be stopped or restarted during this period! We recommend you do not ac-
tivate demo mode until you have the time to thoroughly check out its sound
and functionality. See “Demo Mode” on page 40 for detailed information.
Demo Active (days remaining)
If the14-day trial period has been activated but is not yet expired, the number
of days remaining is displayed here in green text.
Demo Expired
If the14-day trial period has ended, “Demo expired” is displayed here in red
text.
Help Column Clicking the Help button (“?”) opens a link to the plug-in product page on
the UA online store.
